What's On in Y Fricsan / The Snowdon Inn
Nearly every weekend through the year you’ll find top quality live music in the pub. Past and upcoming gigs are listed on the Events Diary webpage. The best bands from North and Mid Wales appear here – and we go right across the board from Jazz and folk through to rock, and have regular DJ nights of world dance grooves. The venue is pretty small – but the atmosphere is big – 200 people packed in – 200 people dancing – 200 people smiling.
This is a local pub – so we don’t charge entry for music nights, but rely on making our money back on the bar.

The boys are back. The master Tom Booth on the decks with guest support and amazing visuals from Tomos Barton. And of course the best soundsystem in the valley from Boulder Dave. Vaynol eat your heart out!!

T.J. Elias and Bonnie Pilgrim – plus more! What a line up to chill out a frantic weekend. Bonnie Oilgrim are one of the best folk outfits on the circuit. Tom Elias is simply the master. A world class night. Seriously. And free!!

Amazing live act that gave us one of our best nights a couple of months ago – truly deserving of the bank-holiday primetime slot.

Sul Acwstic. A night organised by Emma Davies and part of a new organisation hoping to deliver some good stuff. Great line-up – Sunrise Sunset, We Are Animal, Mister Jack, Chasing Squirrels.
There will be a charge of £5 on the door for this Sunday.
